The 3 murals Colour~field 001 & 002 & 003 where part of the group exhibition ‘From Sol to now’ at Icoon in Hoek van Holland. Adapted to the characteristics of this exhibition space in a former bunker I painted a collection of colour~fields. In the murals a connection can be seen with the perception of colours on a remote horizon. Aiming to create a moment for the viewer to stand still and let their mind wonder of to imaginary places. The exhibition was a contemporary tribute to the work of Sol LeWitt and took place from 24 August-30 September 2025. Other artists: Jelmer Noordeman, Joep Brouwer, Ropp Schouten, Sigmund de Jong.
